To be able to make a difference and do my bit to make the world a better place.

Yes. I was the editor of my college magazine.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

Stories that create an impact and improve the life of underprivileged communities and persecuted minorities keep me going.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Never compromise on facts. Bring empathy in your reports.

What's your favorite drink?

Hot chocolate.

The Intercept, Article 15 and Pro Publica.

What's the most common misperception about your beat?

Getting it first matters more than getting it right.
