1 Introduction Menstruation is a physiological process regulated by cyclic fluctuations of estrogen and progesterone [1]. During this phase, circulating hormone levels reach their nadir, accompanied by physiological changes such as enhanced fibrinolytic activity and subtle alterations in coagulation factors. Additionally, the decline in these hormones may heighten pain perception, potentially impacting postoperative analgesic requirements and rehabilitation adherence.
