Multifunctional Core–Shell Nanodiamond Stationary Phase for Open-Tubular Capillary Electrochromatography: Synergistic Interactions and Exceptional Joule-Heat Dissipation Click to copy article link Article link copied!
Abstract Click to copy section linkSection link copied! Open-tubular capillary electrochromatography (OT-CEC) holds significant promise for microscale separations but is frequently constrained by trade-offs among phase stability, sample loadability, and the detrimental effects of Joule heating. Herein, we introduce carboxylated nanodiamond (C-ND) as a multifunctional stationary phase to address these challenges.
Natural deep eutectic solvent assisted synthesis and applications of chiral carbon dots
Natural deep eutectic solvent assisted synthesis and applications of chiral carbon dots Min Wang, Chunhu Li, Meiling Zhou, Zhining Xia and Yike Huang Abstract Chiral recognition has attracted extensive attention in the field of pharmaceutical science as it plays an important role in understanding biological and pharmaceutical mechanisms. Chiral carbon dots (CCDs), which integrate the advantages of fluorescent properties and the unique chiral property, have great potential in chiral recognition.
Peroxisome-Inspired Chemiluminescent Silica Nanodevice for Intracellular Detection of Oxidase-Catalyzed Biomarkers and Its Application for Insulin Sensitizer Screening - Jie - 2017 - Angewandte Chemie International Edition - Wiley Online Library
Profiling of oxidase-catalyzed biomarkers is an essential procedure for the diagnosis and precise treatment of the metabolic diseases. Inspired by the metabolism of H2O2 in peroxisomes, a novel chemiluminescent silica nanodevice (CSN) was designed for sensitive and selective sensing of oxidase-catalyzed biomarkers. Oxidases catalyzed the oxidation of biomarkers followed by the production of H2O2, and then the generated H2O2 was employed as a messenger to trigger the chemiluminescence of the CSN.
Adsorption Behavior and Mechanism of Perfluorochemicals on Oxidized Fluorinated Graphene Sheets Supported on Silica
This is the first report on the fabrication of oxidized fluorinated graphene sheets supported on silica (OFG@silica) for selective adsorption of perfluorochemicals (PFCs). To increase the affinity towards PFCs, oxidized fluorinated graphene (OFG) was grafted onto the amino-terminated alkyl chains modified silica (NH2-silica), thus producing a mixed-mode material combining fluorophilicity and hydrophobic affinity with anion-exchange properties.
Rapid screening and evaluation of antioxidants in alkaloidal natural products by capillary electrophoresis with chemiluminescence detection
A capillary electrophoresis (CE) incorporating chemiluminescence (CL) detection method was applied to on-line screening and evaluation of the antioxidants in alkaloidal natural products. Constant and stable CL intensity was derived from the reaction of luminol and reactive oxygen species (ROS) which were generated from sodium hypochlorite-hydrogen peroxide system, and the inhibited peaks were then acquired as the quenching effects of antioxidants against ROS.
