Hello G-Shockers, I have a question that might seem odd. I've searched the forum for an answer and didn't find one. if there is a thread out there that deals with this, please point me in the right direction. As the title indicates, I own a Casio DW5600. Normally I prefer mechanical watches, but I love how easy wearing, simple, ad feature-packed this watch is. I don't love the rubber strap it came on and I'd like to put it on a vintage style twisty bracelet.
What do you think of the new Bulova "American Clipper"?
#1 · I think they look pretty sharp. Some type of Miyota automatic movement (rotor could look better though). 39mm. Leather strap with tuning fork on pin buckle. Priced at $395 - $425. I stopped into Macy's yesterday but didn't see any. Maybe not in stores yet. What do you think? https://www.watchuseek.com/bulova-american-clipper-automatic-limited-edition-macys/ (photos from WUS article) See less See more Sort by #2 · Personally, I'm not a fan.
I'm going to buy it... VC 1942
#1 · As the title states... is there any BURNING reason not to? I've been searching for months for a wedding watch to purchase around the 10-15k USD Range. At first my choices were rather limited (by budget) and I was looking at a couple of JLC's / Moser etc. The VC Fifty Six Day Date was out of my reach. Then I got to know one of the salespersons at the AD through a mutual friend and she managed to work a discount that brought the VC fifty six day date well within the budget.
Watchmaker Makes 3D PRINTED Watches
SLM printing is just a single step in manufacturing of anything. You can compare it to the stamping/forming process of cases. You still have to do all the interface machining and surface finish. There is bunch of pre- and post-processing for every print. Material usage is large, you cannot recycle all of the powder. Basically it is great for doing small quantities of high performance materials (Inconel, titanium...) As soon as you get to higher quantities, other processes are more appropriate...

Great Dealing With GregoryD
The watch was, if anything , better than advertised, he had it in the post the day after he received payment. It was packed well and even came with an extra strap and a polishing cloth. I was happy to deal with him and you will be too.

YellowBullet Is A Top Seller
The watch was as advertised, packed well, sent out promptly and arrived in great shape. You can't ask for more. It was good doing business with him and hope I can do it again sometime. Deal with confidence.
jon_huskisson is First Rate!
What more can you say? The deal was made quick. He shipped promptly and packed well. And if anything, the watch looks even better than the pictures! I had a great experience doing business with him and you will, too.
