Have you ever used a typewriter?
I have used a typewriter attachment for an iPad and yes, I am ashamed about it.
Who's your favorite fictional journalist?
Miranda Priestly. Hands down.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
While I have a lot of things I'm proud of, one of my biggest stories is my essay in Vox surrounding the 2020 Black Lives Matter protests.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Always search for the assumptions behind the biggest stories. The answer is rarely what you think.
