What does it mean to be a journalist?
It means writing the first draft of history; to preserve emotion and the voice of your subject while honestly telling their story.

Tumblr. Hands down. I've been on since 2010, and I'm never leaving.

Why did you become a journalist?
Journalism blends my diverse skill set and varied interests with my lifelong passion for creatively telling the stories of the untold.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
We didn't have one, but I did write for our first-ever edition of our literary magazine! A couple of poems and an essay.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I am most proud of interviewing Jewish residents of Rome, Ga. about their congresswoman, Marjorie Taylor Greene.

I am an aspiring journalist, so if anyone could offer me advice, that'd be great.
