Zoltán Knap

Zoltán Knap currently works as a photojournalist for the daily newspaper Blikk and the online sports newspaper spotrtal.hu, both published by Ringier.
Over the past thirty years he has worked for various newspapers and magazines. For ten years he was head of the photo section of the entertainment daily Bors.
In the Hungarian Press Photo Contest his pictures were awarded in the categories portrait, photo reportage, news and event photography. He has been photographing a Hungarian folk dance troupe for a longer period of time, and has had the pleasure to organise several exhibitions of their pictures and to publish a photo album entitled 'Dancing beans'.
In his spare time, he enjoys sports with his two teenage sons and is interested in history, film and astronomy.
