Athletes have a higher prevalence of LBP and spinal abnormalities on Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) compared to non-athletes. The objective of this study was to investigate the amount of spinal MRI abnormalities and the lifetime prevalence of low back pain (LBP) in 16 young elite Mogul skiers compared to 28 non-athletes in the corresponding age in a cross-sectional design.

Outcome after hip arthroscopy for femoroacetabular impingement in 289 patients with minimum 2-year follow-up

Femoroacetabular impingement (FAI) is a common cause of hip pain and dysfunction. The purpose of this study was to report outcome 2 years after the arthroscopic treatment of FAI using validated outcome measurements. Two hundred and eighty-nine patients (males = 190, females = 99) with a mean age of 37 years underwent arthroscopic surgery for FAI. Patients were included consecutively in a hip arthroscopy registry.
