WEST HAVEN — Republican Roman Khondker made a fast political name for himself when he ran in a primary for state representative at age 18 and was appointed to city and state commissions at 19 — all while in high school. Now, at 20, he’s landed a position as a member of President Donald J. Trump’s reelection campaign in Rhode Island, where he is a student at University of Rhode Island. “I believe Trump is a very, very good president,” said Khondker, excited for the work to begin in January.
