North Branford firefighters battled 'heavy clutter and deep seated fire' in Ledgewood Drive blaze
NORTH BRANFORD — Firefighters battled "heavy clutter and deep seated fire" at a Ledgewood Drive residence overnight in North Branford, officials said. The blaze reportedly began in the raised ranch's living room, and crews were dispatched around 10:16 p.m. Sunday, the North Branford Fire Department said. Crews found a heavy fire on the second floor of the home and quickly knocked down a majority of the blaze, the department said.
