Farmington man killed in New Britain rollover crash on Interstate 84
NEW BRITAIN — A Connecticut man was killed in an Interstate 84 west rollover crash through New Britain on Tuesday afternoon, police said. The victim was identified as 84-year-old Abbott Schultz, Jr., of Farmington, Connecticut State Police said in a news release. Schultz was driving a 1995 Chevrolet Camaro when he veered off the highway and crashed through an Exit 36 support post, police said. The sports car ended on the left side of the guardrail after flipping onto its roof, police said.
PWHL lands first season-long US national broadcast deal with Scripps Sports for upcoming 4th year
The newly expanded PWHL enters its fourth season by securing its first season-long U.S. national broadcast deal with Scripps Sports, the women’s hockey league announced on Wednesday. KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (AP) — Authorities recovered Wednesday the remains of all five people aboard a “flying doctor” service helicopter that crashed on Malaysia's Borneo island the day before. The crash happened near the Long Lellang airstrip in northern Sarawak, Malaysia’s largest state, which covers vast rural and remote areas where healthcare access can be difficult. "Flying doctor" transports medical teams to isolated areas.

ROGERS, Ark. (AP) — ROGERS, Ark. (AP) — America's Car-Mart Inc. (CRMT) on Wednesday reported a loss of $69 million in its fiscal first quarter. On a per-share basis, the Rogers, Arkansas-based company said it had a loss of $8.28. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to $6.65 per share. The auto retailer posted revenue of $145.8 million in the period.

ST. LOUIS (AP) — ST. LOUIS (AP) — Core & Main Inc. (CNM) on Wednesday reported fiscal second-quarter earnings of $144 million. The St. Louis-based company said it had net income of 77 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 94 cents per share. The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 93 cents per share.
