Writing about the world around me as a child.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
Hahaha. Yes. Once or Twice. I played with my 90 year old grandmother's typewriter. Coolest invention ever.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
Passion. Drive. Storytelling. Doing what most are afraid of doing: Telling the God honest truth.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
Just give me the pitch and I'm out there.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I covered a Diversity Rally at my university and it influenced action. I look forward to working more with the issue at hand.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Be immersed in your work. Every day takes effort. You have to have the passion. If you do, everything will work out for good.
When's the best time to pitch you?
Anytime. Any place. I'm likely to be available. Journalism is a 24/7 job to me. Even as a full time college student. No days off.
