THE Toyota Camry Super Tourer that tackled the AMP Bathurst 1000 in addition to a long-life racing in the BOC Gases Australian Super Touring Championship is being brought back to life ‘across the ditch’. Now in Dunedin in New Zealand, the car was the recent subject of a call-out by our sister Super Touring Facebook page (follow it here) as it hadn’t been seen in public for quite some time and had been considered missing by plenty of Super Touring fans worldwide.

THE three races at this year’s Darwin Triple Crown delivered a 14-year first for the annual visit of Supercars to the Northern Territory. All three races – one each on Friday, Saturday and Sunday – were won by cars that started beyond the front row of the grid. Monster Energy Mustang ace Cam Waters won Friday’s race from fourth on the grid while Penrite Ford pilot Kai Allen won Saturday’s 200-kilometre race from fifth grid position.

TASMANIAN Campbell Logan’s first Dunlop Super2 Series race win today in Darwin places him in a special place in the history books of the development series The Tickford young gun held off Blanchard Mustang driver Lochie Dalton for the bulk of the race to claim his first Super2 race win and become the 88th driver in series history to win a race.
