Hi everyone! I'm jumping in to real estate investing very soon, set to close on 6/17. It is a triplex that I intend to househack. I'm currently finishing up The Book on Managing Rental Properties by the Turners. In it, it seems like the best way to collect rent is to use an online company that can accept payments online.

Hi everyone, I’m looking for recommendations for a structural engineer in the Franklin Park / Cook County / Chicago suburbs area. Buyer is under contract on a 3-unit property built in the 1960s, and we want someone to inspect visible foundation cracks before moving forward. We’re looking for an independent structural engineer — not just a foundation repair company trying to sell repairs.
