6:00 am Before my first year of college — and for the duration of that year — I had a lot of expectations about what life was going to look like. However, I learned very quickly that my expectations were far off from reality. Below, I’ve compiled a list of some expectations that I had of life in general — and expectations I had for myself. Then I’ll discuss the reality of these and how to overcome these challenges. False Expectation 1: You’ll maintain the same kind of discipline that you have now.

I got my first tattoo in 2024 — a bow and arrow with leaves growing off of them like vines. I’ve loved tattoos ever since, and I love talking about them. I’ve had a lot of people tell me they want to get a tattoo, but they’re worried they couldn’t find something meaningful enough.

We often reach for nostalgia as a feeling of comfort that can teleport you back to a simpler time. Movies have a lot of that nostalgic power. Whether it’s one of the classics that never gets old or it’s something a little bit more niche and personal, nostalgic movies never fail to give you those feel-good vibes. I’ve synthesized a list of my top 10 favorite nostalgic films, including both the classics and some that are a little more specific to me.
