1. Introduction Among other cancers, skin cancer is considered one of the deadliest diseases. Around 1.2 million people died in 2020 due to skin cancer only [1]. According to the WHO [1], skin cancer was one of the most common cancers in terms of new cases in 2020, and the number of new cases is increasing dramatically [2,3]. One of the common causes of skin cancer is exposure of the skin to UV (ultraviolet) rays directly coming from the sun [4].
