1 Introduction Assessing concussion requires a multimodal assessment (Harmon et al. 2013; McCrory et al. 2013) of cognitive functioning and balance after concussion (Broglio et al. 2014; McCrory et al. 2013). Evaluating balance without considering tasks that require focused attention may mask underlying balance issues in concussed individuals, particularly in contexts where attention is diverted toward multiple objectives.

INTRODUCTION Stroke is a global health issue that is the second or third cause of death in many countries, and it is one of the most common causes of disability for adults worldwide (Langhorne et al., 2011). Globally, there are over 80 million stroke survivors, and each year, there are an estimated 13.7 million new cases, with 5.5 million people dying due to stroke.
