Hello HP Community and Management, I am writing this post to bring a critical manufacturing defect and a disappointing service experience to the attention of HP’s regional leadership and service heads. The Issue: My brand-new unit has a severe manufacturing defect: Localized Backlight Bleeding in the bottom-left corner of the panel. This is a static hardware flaw caused which is clearly visible during system boot-up, shut down,restart, in movies or anything dark or in dark-themed applications.

Some Nobel prizes in the past have kicked up controversies.
