Communities across Westman are assessing widespread damage after another round of severe thunderstorms Sunday evening into Monday brought large hail, torrential rain, damaging winds and localized flooding. Boissevain, Killarney, Wawanesa, Souris and surrounding areas were among the hardest hit, with reports of golf ball- to baseball-sized hail, flooded roads, damaged homes and vehicles, fallen trees, power outages and extensive damage to crops and gardens.
