With an annual production of around 200,000 tractors, TAFE is India’s second largest tractor manufacturer. “We are not just a strong player on the domestic market, but with our own TAFE brand also aim to be present on the world market in the sub 100 hp segment. The TAFE brand is our key asset”, says Chairman and Managing Director Mallika Srinivasan. TAFE is the brand name and abbreviation of “Tractors And Farm Equipment”.

“There are tractors preferred by some regions, but we are searching for a product that will suit major parts of the world”, according to Ozbalaban. “Existing distributors and dealers are unable to cover other parts of the world which require Versatile tractors. For that reason we are seeking new distributors for new territories to expand our sales, in addition to our current network.
