What was your first job as a journalist?
My first was writing for University of Ibadan's Student Union's press club during my undergrad years.

No.
How is social media changing news?
Social media has made it easier for us to consume and disseminate news.

What does it mean to be a journalist?
Making information accessible.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Note-taking apps, content management systems, Google Workspace, online libraries, VPNs, productivity software, analytical tools, etc.

Why did you become a journalist?
I'm determined to leave my mark on important conversations.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I didn't.
When's the best time to pitch you?
Earlier in the morning is better, around 8-10am WAT. Monday and Tuesday mornings tend to be the best.
What's your favorite drink?
Water
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Buried in a book or watching relatable Instagram Reels.
Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?
One of my favorite outlets to read in my spare time is the Associated Press Stylebook. I know that's not a flashy answer, but I'm endlessly fascinated by AP style rules, proper grammar usage, and keeping up with the latest changes and additions in the Stylebook.
What's the most common misperception about your beat?
That technology is all about reviewing gadgets and specs. Or that it's a “boy's club.”
