What was your first job as a journalist?
The eSports site Team Dignitas, as a tutorial writer for the game Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
Nope!
How is social media changing news?
With social media, stories are here and gone in an instant. It requires sites to have a constant flow of news to stay relevant.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Simply my phone/laptop/computer and Google.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I pride myself on my research skills, so anything relating to security which I have covered (malware etc) is something I am always proud of.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
I never intended on being a journalist, it just happened. Keep putting yourself out there, keep working and hope to get a bit lucky.
What's your favorite drink?
Tough question, possibly Fanta. Depends on the day! Very partial to good, good coffee.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Out with friends!
Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?
I generally get my news from Reddit, so whatever publication is posting whatever it is I'm interested in is what I read I suppose.
