Adam Ondra: Ich bin überzeugt, dass Klettern tief in uns Menschen verankert ist. Es hat etwas sehr Ursprüngliches, irgendwo hinaufzuklettern und ein Ziel oder einen Gipfel erreichen zu wollen. Für mich gehört Klettern zu den natürlichsten Formen der Bewegung – genauso wie Laufen, Gehen oder Schwimmen.

Adam Ondra is widely recognized as one of the greatest rock climbers of all time. He was the first climber to redpoint a 5.15c and 5.15d sport route and the first to flash a 5.15a. He has also climbed 5.14+ R trad, V16, and the world’s hardest big-wall free climb: The Dawn Wall (VI 5.14d). In 2014, Adam became the first male to win World Championship titles in both disciplines (lead and boulder) in the same year. He placed sixth at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
