Adla Massoud is a seasoned journalist, news producer and independent filmmaker specializing in international affairs and humanitarian crises. She was the first foreign correspondent to interview Masoud Barzani in Iraq for Newsweek right after he stepped down as President of the Kurdish Regional Government (KRG) and has interviewed world leaders and opinion makers focusing on how they tell their stories. Adla produced and directed the award winning short documentary film "Wild is the Spring' that captures moments in the lives of diverse ethnic communities in the Levant who struggle to survive when life descends into chaos.
