Too fast, too furious.

Who's your favorite fictional journalist?

HIldy Johnson (played by Rosalind Russell) in His Girl Friday. But most are impossibly heroic / noble or terrible muckraking hacks, tbh.

Why did you become a journalist?

My love of writing and politics and the arts came together during Cultural Studies degree - love to combine the three.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Write, write, write, read, read, read. And never be deterred by not receiving a reply. Try again.

What's the worst pitch you ever got?

There are none as bad as some of the ones I did early on.

What's your favorite drink?

I like all drinks
