He said the feat gives him room to experiment before the Los Angeles games in 2028. Topkin's time of 44.95 seconds at his first start of the season secured his place at the LA Olypmics, roughly a week after his medal-winning swim in Turkey.

Dead calm causes cancellation of Muhu Väin regatta stage

The stage took over 10 hours to complete, with the last Folkboats slinking in at around 2 a.m. on Tuesday.
Tuulevaikus segas Muhu Väina regatti
Muhu Väina regatt on jõudnud kolmanda päevani, kuid teisipäevane Kõiguste ring jäi keeruliste ilmaolude tõttu pooleli. Hommikuse tuulega pääsesid esimesed jahid kenasti rajale, kuid keskpäevast alates hakkas tuul vaibuma, kuni lõpuks võttis maad täielik tuulevaikus, mistõttu tuli võistlussõit kella nelja paiku pärastlõunal katkestada. Esmaspäeval purjetatud 48-miiline Haapsalu–Kõiguste etapp kujunes nõrgas tuules samuti aeglaseks ja ettearvamatuks.
