1 Introduction Parasitoids are widely used as biological control agents in greenhouses (van Lenteren et al. 2020), where environmental parameters, such as illumination, can differ substantially from what is found in nature. Supplemental lighting is used in greenhouses when natural light levels are low, allowing producers to maintain adequate daily light integrals to preserve yields, especially in northern regions (Dorais et al. 2017).
