Investigation of WT-PD1 Secondary Structure with IM-MS and IRMPD The studied wild-type segment of the NACore of α-Synuclein, named here WT-PD1 with sequence 68 GAVVTGVTAVA 78 , is presented in Scheme 1 A. Using our modified Photo-Synapt, (18) a clear peak at a mass over a charge ratio of 944.5 m / z is observed, originating from the singly charged monomeric ion ([M + H] 1+ ). WT-PD1 displays a linear type of oligomerization, meaning a linear increase of both the mass and charge of the ions.
