Hello, I am Agnes Anya!
I am an experienced journalist and certified English for Foreign Language teacher with a passion for communication, cultural understanding, and community development.
As a journalist, I am interested in the dynamic intersection of development and youth-centric narratives, though my journalistic work also covers topics of foreign policy and environmental issues. I was named the best printed journalist by Indonesia's Foreign Ministry in its 2019 Adam Malik Award.
As a teacher, I pride myself on creating engaging and effective classes that allow students to enjoy the learning process while retaining information more effectively. My training in 4-year English Education in the university has equipped me with a variety of interactive teaching methods, including games, role play, and other exciting activities that go beyond traditional one-way teaching.
Although English is not my native language, I am fluent in the language and have a thorough knowledge of its nuances and complexities. I have spent the past eight years working as a journalist for reputable news companies, including news wire Agence France Presse, that demand strong command of English.
