2.2. Growth of Nanowires/Nanorods A horizontal quartz tube furnace (Syskey, LPCVD, Hsinchu, Taiwan) is used for the experiment. A trial and error method is used to find optimum parameters to grow high-quality ZnO NWs such as tube furnace diameter, pressure, gas flow rates, the temperature of the furnace, and other parameters.
