1. Overview Young people face challenges that impact their mental health in today’s society, such as ongoing war, racial injustice, adultism [1], and increased social isolation and time spent online since the COVID-19 pandemic [2]. Minoritized and marginalized young people often face additional challenges to their mental health related to their experiences of systemic inequities (e.g., school tracking, redlining), racism, and discrimination in their day-to-day lives [3,4].
