The Anti Narcotics Wing of the Central Crime Branch (CCB) made a significant breakthrough last Friday with the arrest of five drug peddlers, including two foreign nationals. The operation resulted in the seizure of marijuana and MDMA crystals worth `26,00,000, along with various items used in the drug trafficking operation.

Recently, Bengaluru police found that school bus drivers were flouting traffic norms in the city. A total of 23 drivers tested positive for alcohol consumption on July 9 and are now facing legal action, according to a statement by the Bengaluru police. During the inspection, 119 cases were registered against water tanker drivers for using shrill horns, which violate noise pollution standards and contribute to public disturbance. “It has come to our notice that many water tankers are being driven fast and recklessly, often being involved in accidents, especially on the outskirts of the city.
