Co-located ecological data for exploring top- and subsoil carbon dynamics across grassland-woodland contrasts - Scientific Data

Abstract Soil organic carbon (SOC) is a soil health indicator and understanding dynamics changing SOC stocks will help achieving net zero goals. Here we present four datasets featuring 11,750 data points covering co-located aboveground and below-ground metrics for exploring ecosystem SOC dynamics.

A systematic evaluation of the design and context dependencies of massively parallel reporter assays
Abstract Massively parallel reporter assays (MPRAs) functionally screen thousands of sequences for regulatory activity in parallel. To date, there are limited studies that systematically compare differences in MPRA design. Here, we screen a library of 2,440 candidate liver enhancers and controls for regulatory activity in HepG2 cells using nine different MPRA designs.
Functional characterization of enhancer evolution in the primate lineage
We synthesized and tested all 10,544 tiles for enhancer activity in a massively parallel reporter assay. Specifically, we used the STARR-seq vector [ 30 ], in which candidate enhancers are cloned into the 3′ UTR of an episomal reporter gene, in human HepG2 cells in triplicate.
