HGT Cymru is delighted to be donating 200 tickets to local clubs and community groups for the Cymru v Montenegro women’s international, taking place in Llanelli on 7 March. Working with the Football Association of Wales (FAW), HGT Cymru requested and secured a 93 adult tickets and 107 junior tickets for the fixture this weekend.

In a dramatic and emotionally charged contest at Cardiff City Stadium, Belgium edged past Cymru 4–2 to deal a serious blow to the Dragons’ ambitions of automatic World Cup qualification. Cymru burst out of the blocks with intent, encouraged by the home support and early possession of dominance. In the 8th minute, they took the lead. From a well‑delivered Sorba Thomas corner, Joe Rodon found himself unmarked in the six-yard box and powered a header past Thibaut Courtois.

This powerful initiative was delivered through a partnership between Alzheimer’s Society and The Football Association (FA). Rather than the traditional child mascots, 22 adults living with dementia took their place alongside the players, singing national anthems and stepping into a spotlight.
