Teenagers charged over knife incident in Toowoomba's Grand Central shopping centre

Two teenagers have been charged with affray following an incident involving a knife in Grand Central Shopping Centre in Toowoomba. A 19-year-old man was treated for minor injuries to his arm. The 16-year-old boy and 14-year-old boy, both from Glenvale, will appear before the Toowoomba Children's Court on June 11. Two teenagers will face court following an alleged stabbing at a busy shopping centre in regional Queensland.

Beekeepers race to save hundreds of beehives after 'confronting' crash

Beekeepers are working to save thousands of bees after a truck carrying their hives crashed on the Warrego Highway. The truck has not been moved and an exclusion zone is in place around the angry swarms. The surviving bees are expected to be relocated tonight to ensure their safety. Cattle company inadvertently tipped off Queensland DPI to biosecurity breach, court told

A NSW company tipped off authorities to the illegal movement of its cattle, triggering the investigation that led to the largest-ever biosecurity fine under a Queensland law. Argyle Foods Pastoral Pty Ltd, based in New South Wales and the ACT, was fined $45,000 in November 2025 for moving livestock into Queensland without the required records. The company is operated by directors Bryce and Lachlan Graham, who are brothers.
