GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A man was shot in the leg in Grand Rapids Saturday night, police say. The shooting happened at around 9 p.m. on Jennette Avenue NW near Leonard Street NW, according to the Grand Rapids Police Department. The man, who police say is in his 30s, told officers that he walked to the hospital after the shooting. He suffered non-life threatening injuries. A suspect has not been arrested, according to GRPD.

Deputies: 3 hospitalized, 1 arrested after buggy crash in Burr Oak Township

BURR OAK TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A man was arrested and three people were airlifted to a hospital after a car crashed into a horse and buggy in Burr Oak Township Friday night, deputies say. The crash happened at around 8:16 p.m. on Maystead Road, near Needham Road, according to the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office. Preliminary investigations show that a car headed eastbound on Maystead rear ended the horse-drawn buggy, which was also headed eastbound.
