The pandemic eventually reached Yemen, with the first laboratory confirmed case announced on April 10. 2 UN Office of the Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Coordinator for Yemen The Ministry of Health in Aden confirms the first case of COVID-19 in Yemen. The cholera epidemic in Yemen reached 2 million suspected cases in January, 2020.
