4. Discussion In the present paper, we have focused our attention on the analysis of the ankle joint, since it resulted to be the most affected by AFO. In particular, the joint kinetics and kinematics were evaluated both for the most compromised side and the contralateral one. According to the results, the running biomechanics of the affected ankle was strongly modified by the presence of AFO.
