As soon as it debuted , the fully-electric Subaru Trailseeker drew comparisons to the Outback , and it isn't hard to see why. They're both spacious, comfy and well-equipped midsize SUVs with outdoorsy personalities and an armada of safety features. The Trailseeker also looks a lot like a traditional Outback wagon – so much so that in other countries it's actually called the E-Outback.

Citing Connected Vehicles Rule, U.S. Denies 2027 Polestar Sales

Chinese owner Geely gets Volvo an exemption from the rule. Polestar announced today that it will wind down its U.S. sales operation and that there will be no new 2027 models, at least not here. That's a shame, because the brand's electric products, starting with the now-discontinued Polestar 2 sedan and later the Polestar and Polestar SUVs , were nice vehicles and provided more choices to consumers in an EV market that's still in the process of finding its footing.
