What was your first job as a journalist?
I currently work as an editorial assistant at publishing house W. W. Norton & Company; this is my first job out of college.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
Yes—my grandparents had one in their old house.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
Yep—I wrote and drew a comic strip every week! It wasn't that funny—just deeply weird.

I was excited by the opportunity to cover the controversial misconduct allegations surrounding Seonwoo "Infiltration" Lee.

With my nose buried in a book!
What's the most common misperception about your beat?
That you need to be a player or competitor in order to appreciate esports. Just like "real" sports, many esports are spectator-friendly!
