What was your first job as a journalist?
It was Easter Sunday 2019, first game against the Astros. I interviewed one player 1-on-1, Joey Gallo.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
What's a typewriter? Just kidding, no I have not.
How is social media changing news?
People are more aware of what's going on around the news and it's 100% clear cut rather than waiting for a news story that may have bias.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
It's phenomenal being able to share the stories whether it's hardships or euphoria to the public.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
My first Pride story in 2021. I got to go to my first ever Pride game which was at Dodger Stadium.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Keep working because you never know when that one person reads your article and they come knocking on your door.
When's the best time to pitch you?
If you send an email, anytime would be fine.
What's your favorite drink?
When I worked at SONIC, occasionally I would take a sample of every drink and syrup, and mix it all together. It tasted better then you think
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
In my bed, sleeping.
What's the most common misperception about your beat?
That sports journalism is easy.
