A new initiative that aims at providing housing to homeless veterans is yielding positive results, according to Los Angeles city officials. Since its launch in early 2025, the House Our Vets initiative has found housing for more than 1,000 homeless vets across the city, the office of Mayor Karen Bass said Wednesday.
