By Alex Wiggan Image: Mattel This summer, to coincide with the release of live-action blockbuster, Masters of the Universe, Mattel has launched a brand new MOTU cartoon series titled Masters of the Universe: Tales of Eternia. The series – released on the Mattel Adventures YouTube channel – reintroduces classic MOTU characters such as He-Man, Skeletor, and Teela, via bite-sized episodes perfect for young minds with young attention spans.

So, you want to learn as much about Batman as you can, right? Well, you came to the right place. Since 1939, Batman has been a captivating character and is arguably one of the greatest comic book characters of all-time, sitting comfortably alongside Superman and Spider-Man. Superman embodies everything that a hero needs to be, Spider-Man has the best origin, and Batman is without doubt the most interesting hero (with the best villains).

In 1996, Warner Bros. Animation produced an animated television series based on Superman. The cartoon series aired on Kids’ WB under the title Superman: The Animated Series. The show – a spin-off of Batman: The Animated Series – ran for three seasons, totalling 54 episodes. It was followed by sequel cartoons Justice League and Justice League Unlimited, which continued Superman’s story.
