HAMBLETON, W.Va. (WBOY) — Valley Link, the organization behind the Valley North Project, held an open house on Wednesday at Tucker County High School to get feedback from the public. The project plan is to build a 260-mile transmission line across several West Virginia counties before ending in Frederick, Maryland. Will Boye, Valley Link’s spokesperson, said the Valley North Project is about addressing reliability concerns, as well as meeting an increasing demand for energy.
