In an hour, I will be lying in a field surrounded by horses, and my heart is racing at the thought of it. Honestly, I’ve been anxious about it all week. I have a deep respect for horses. I admire their beauty, their calm, their strength – and it’s that strength that terrifies me. I love horses from afar, with a fence in between. But something has called me to Yoga Farm, an acreage in Mount Duneed owned by Anna Rimmer and her husband, Paul.

I first discovered PEMF therapy at Saint Haven, where BEST CELLF’s mats form part of the club’s recovery offering. I had never heard of the therapy before and had no idea what to expect before settling down on the mat for a half-hour session, where all I had to do was lie there with a blanket over me and an LED light above my face. If this is wellness, I remember thinking, sign me up.

Dairy Flat Lodge & Farm in Musk, Victoria, is the kind of place where you arrive and immediately begin dreaming of ways to make every day feel more like the way you feel in that moment. We hadn’t even been there twenty-four hours before Brad started sending me listings for nearby farms for sale.
