Interview
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
I prefer email when being pitched on stories! That way, I can take the time to read, ask questions, and research the potential publisher.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
As a student, I typically use accessible software, including Google products and other free options.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
Not newspaper, but broadcast journalism center! I helped run and present morning announcements, write and produce stories for broadcast, and participated in informational and advertisement projects.
Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?
I like to keep an eye on University publications! As a student myself, I know the value of young voices, and supporting other budding journalists is always a plus!
