Correction to “Approach for Plasmonic Based DNA Sensing: Amplification of the Wavelength Shift and Simultaneous Detection of the Plasmon Modes of Gold Nanostructures”
We respond with this correction to the question of the lack of noise in Figure 4C of this paper in the 800–900 nm region. We are supplying a new Figure 4C demonstrating that the magnitude of the extinction from about 800 to 900 nm is approximately zero, as shown in the original figure. However, we note that the figure in the original version appears to have been cosmetically altered in this region. This correction does not change the conclusions in the original article.
