The Rooting Pig reopened Thursday along with the Broad Arrow Farm Market, which both closed for renovations in 2024. A century-old chicken barn at Broad Arrow Farm has been transformed into a year-round restaurant, marking the next chapter for the Rooting Pig, which opened Thursday after more than a year of restoration. The renovation of the Rooting Pig expands what began in 2022 as a seasonal farm stand charcuterie bar into a full-service restaurant. It is located at 33 Benner Road in Bristol.

Fecteau, a Democrat who represents District 132 (Biddeford) in the Maine House of Representatives, is also speaker of the House. Fecteau succeeds interim Executive Director Diane Small, who also serves as executive director of the Sanford Housing Authority.
