What does it mean to be a journalist?

To be a storyteller, tasked with the important, life-altering job of getting it right.

How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?

With a general idea that still has a lot of room for fun

Why did you become a journalist?

I am captivated by the human story understand that the media is a powerful device for storytelling and I want to use that for good.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

Yearbook-I designed two books, from cover to cover and acted as Editor-in-Chief on one, so I managed and edited my final issue as well.

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

On a bike or on a porch, book in hand
