Thousands of residents of the Greek island Santorini are fleeing the island amid a wave of seismic activity. Over 300 earthquakes have been recorded near the island over the last 48 hours, and emergency measures are being taken as a precaution.

Thelma Barratt and Elma Harris marked their 104th birthdays back in August last year at Pear Tree House Care Home, in Wesham, Lancashire. The twin sisters, who were born in Cheadle Heath in Stockport, explained that they “can’t believe” they are celebrating the milestone. “I keep saying ‘I’m sure you’re kidding me’,” Thelma said. “We don’t act our age. We hope to keep young,” Elma added. Thelma and Elma were born in 1919, and both attended Alexandra Park Primary School.

My 30th birthday is just around the corner and as excited as I am to channel my inner Jenna Rink, I can’t help but feel immense pressure to suddenly have two kids and a mortgage. Being 30 may feel a little overwhelming, but everyone has said your thirties are an incredible decade, well almost everyone. I’ve noticed an increase in people making remarks about my plans to have kids, which is wild given the fact that I’m someone who says things like ‘in my Jenna Rink era’.
