Honestly, I’m starting to get Ole Gunnar Solskjaer flashbacks. Michael Carrick insisting Manchester United’s start is “not that bad” after taking four points from nine is exactly the sort of optimism that makes supporters nervous. No, I'm not being dramatic because let’s be serious - United have played Hull, Ipswich and Everton. These are games where a club with ambitions should be banking points, not explaining why four points is acceptable. The Everton draw was especially painful.
